The camera moves slowly through Osaka. Houses, cars, people – everything stretched, everything clearer than it will ever be remembered. The image seems to hold time, but it only holds its abstraction.

Physically, time is a dimension, mathematically describable, stretchable, measurable. Computers break it down into frames, creating illusions of continuity. But they only calculate states – they know no now.

We experience time as a flow, as breath, as expectation. The lens can stretch this flow, but it cannot experience it. Every simulation of time remains a map without a present, a precise image without the ticking of the moment.
