Whether in analog mixed-media works or digital video experiments, the focus is always on the tension between presence and transience. The technology remains invisible; what counts is the immediate effect.

Tim Tobias Jakob develops his works in his studio in Berlin Neukölln. He is currently translating growth patterns of algorithmic systems into organic forms.
